International Waffle Day is today, but you don't have to bother making batter.
Bardot Brasserie, Aria — Hunter's Waffle
Duck confit, root vegetable brunoise, poached eggs and sauce maltaise top this waffle that's available only during brunch, $19.
Waffle Bar, Grand Bazaar Shops— Berry Delight
Topped with strawberries, this is among the varieties of authentic Belgian waffles made with pearl sugar, just as the prince-bishop originally requested, $7.99 to $10.99.
Yardbird, The Venetian— Chicken 'n' Watermelon 'n' Waffles
A Vermont sharp cheddar cheese waffle (also available a la carte) is served with chicken, honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon and bourbon maple syrup, $36.
Hexx, Paris Las Vegas — Cinnaroll waffle
Four mini cinnamon rolls are baked in a waffle iron and topped with cream cheese frosting, $13.95.
Pot Liquor, Town Square — Pulled pork and waffles
Part of the restaurant's smokehouse-influenced brunch, it features spiced apple compote and bourbon-barrel-aged maple syrup and is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, $12.98, or $19.98 with an endless bellini, mimosa or bloody mary.
