WINE AND BEER TASTING TO BENEFIT VEGAS PBS

Southern Nevada Public Television plans to host its 26th annual Splendor in the Glass Wine & Beer Tasting event from 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 7 in the ballroom at the Westgate, 5625 W. Flamingo Road. Guests can sample wines and beers from 60 wineries and breweries courtesy of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada and enjoy hot and cold hors d’oeuvres. A live wine auction and silent auction are planned, along with entertainment by the Woody Woods Jazz Combo. Chef Hubert Keller also plans to present a cooking demonstration.

VEGAS UNCORK’D EVENTS COMING IN APRIL

The ninth Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appetit is scheduled for April 23-26 to at Aria, the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and the MGM Grand. Headliner chefs are set to include Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Gordon Ramsay, Julian Serrano, Francois Payard, Masa Takayama, Michael Mina and Guy Savoy. More chefs and events are set to be announced in the coming weeks, along with details about the Master Series Dinner program, which will cover multiple properties during the event weekend.
