Updated August 23, 2017 - 12:48 pm

Happening at Tivoli Village

Hamptons is scheduled to open Sept. 6 at Tivoli Village in the former Salt ‘n Pepper Southern Comfort Bar & Grill. From the Wild Thyme Restaurant Group, the two-level Hamptons will have “industrial-chic” interior design and will serve twists on American classics such as a short rib and fried egg sandwich and avocado fries. It will have outdoor dining spaces on both levels.

And yes, the opening of Canter’s Deli at Tivoli Village is finally in sight. Look for it in mid-September.

Chicken on the go

Krispy Krunchy Chicken, which has 2,300 locations in 41 states plus Malaysia and American Samoa, has opened its first valley location in the Short Line Express at 2868 W. Cheyenne Blvd. On the menu, besides fried chicken: fried seafood, honey butter biscuits and more.

Fifth spot for Shake Shack

The fifth Shake Shack in the Las Vegas Valley is to open early next year at Las Vegas Premium Outlets North near downtown. The front entrance is being redeveloped for the space.

2 more In-N-Outs

Cult favorite In-N-Out Burger will open its 14th and 15th locations at Sahara Avenue and Hualapai Way and Flamingo and Sandhill roads. They’re in the permitting stages, with construction starts not set.

Another way to love sushi

When the Southern California-based Culichi Town chain opens a restaurant to replace Garduno’s at Fiesta Rancho, its menu of mostly Sinaloa-style food also will include deep-fried sushi filled with chicken, steak, bacon and cheese. No opening date yet.
