White Castle is holding a job fair to flip over
This could, quite literally, be your dream job, the one that will make you the envy of your friends, who will rush to social media to spread the news.
No, it doesn’t involve Brazilian waxes for showgirls or food-testing for local buffets. You could get a job at White Castle.
You’ve probably heard that the first White Castle in Las Vegas is scheduled to open soon, at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale on the Strip. Considering that people stood in line for up to four hours at White Castle trucks at the Las Vegas Foodie Fest the past couple of years, you probably also understand that there is some interest in that news. Las Vegas has restaurants from many of the most eminent chefs in the world, but what the people want — nay, what the people need — is a good tiny burger.
And you could find an official spot behind the grill, flipping burgers for White Castle fans, which the company fondly refers to as “Cravers.”
Just show up at the Terrible Herbst Employment Center at 5775 S. Polaris Road (at Russell Road) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Bring a valid ID. If you have them, also bring your Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Non-Gaming Card, TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) card and Southern Nevada Health District health card.
And maybe an appreciation for American culture.
