The symbolism in this one would be hard to miss. To promote its new Hut Rewards program, Pizza Hut is toppling dominoes.
The program itself is pretty straightforward: Once you register at pizzahut.com, you get unlimited points toward free pizza for every dollar you spend online. Through Oct. 1, the company is offering unlimited double awards.
As part of the promotion, Pizza Hut produced a YouTube video featuring falling dominoes. But instead of a line of the little blocks, Pizza Hut’s design has lines and circles and food shapes, even logos and words, walls that fall down to reveal messages and tumbling pizza boxes. And if you correctly guess how many dominoes are knocked down, you can win free pizza for life.
