Lita Ford still rocking hard, this week at Hard Rock Hotel’s Vinyl
Two teen “Queens of Noise” are working moms now, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t able to “Rock This Christmas Down.”
Former Runaways guitarist Lita Ford and singer Cherie Currie reunited for the holiday single, the first time they’d worked together since their infamous teen-rock days with Joan Jett in 1977 (Jett will be at the Eastside Cannery Jan. 18).
The two claim to have enjoyed it so much, they plan to keep working together this year.
In the meantime, the 55-year-old Ford soldiers on with her solo band at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Vinyl club Friday. She released her eighth solo album, “Living Like a Runaway,” in 2012.
