The first trailer for Chris Columbus’ new film “Pixels” was just released and it’s out of this world — it’s about aliens.
“In 1982, NASA sent a time capsule into space in hopes of contacting other life forms. Included were examples of our life and culture. It was intended to be a message of peace. Unfortunately, it was taken the wrong way,” the trailer reads.
When extraterrestrial beings mistake violence in classic video games for a declaration of war, the lifeforms wage war against planet Earth via video game pixels.
And who is meant to save the day? Adam Sandler and an interesting ensemble cast.
If you’re into 8-bit arcade games like Donkey Kong and Pacman, you will probably love this new flick.
