2 injured in fire near Smoke Ranch, Torrey Pines

Two adults were hospitalized Friday after a fire at a west valley home, according to the Las Vegas Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived at the home at 2429 Valparaiso Street just after 1 p.m. and found that flames at the front of the home had spread to trees in the front yard.
The two people injured were taken to the hospital with minor burns, and the fire caused about $75,000 in damage.
The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire.
