2 men stabbed in apartment parking lot early Monday morning
Two men were stabbed at an apartment complex parking lot in the northern valley near the intersection of Simmons Street and Holley Avenue on Monday.
The men became involved in an altercation in the parking lot of the Portola Del Sol apartments, 1915 Simmons St., about 5:24 a.m., according to Metro. The altercation resulted in both men being stabbed, Metro Lt. David Gordon said.
The two men were located in separate apartments and were subsequently transported to University Medical Center where they are undergoing treatment, police said. The severity of their injuries is unknown.
Metro detectives were on scene and investigating the incident, Gordon said.
No further information was immediately available.
