A spring blizzard in Denver has caused the cancellation of some departure flights Saturday from McCarran International Airport.
There have been “several cancellations,” said Chris Jones, chief marketing officer, Clark County Department of Aviaion.
“Travelers should check the status of their flights,” Jones asid. Certain flights may be moved or change airlines, he said.
The Federal Aviation Administration site shows that Denver International Airport was open Saturday, but the status of flights is unknown.
According to a Denver International Airport tweets, 70 percent of flights have been canceled due to snow, and the remaining flights are moving.
