The restaurant offers a wide assortment of food and beverages that most famously includes its cheese, chicken, pork, and pineapple and raisin tamales for $3.95 for one, $14.25 for six and $19.25 for 12. The tamales are larger than average and served in a thin layer of dough with lots of filling. Once you are seated, never-ending chips and salsa are served as an appetizer. The menu also features traditional Mexican food, such as enchiladas, tostadas, burritos, tacos, fajitas, chile rellenos and carne asada served with freshly made tortillas, rice and beans and soup or salad. For dessert there is flan, fried ice cream, sopapillas, churros, ice cream and cheesecake. Breakfast options include huevos rancheros, torta de huevo, chilaquiles and breakfast burritos served all day. The portions are large, and average dish prices range from $7 to $20. Happy hour specials include margaritas, coladas and Mexican beers served from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
