Eureka Casino, 595 E. Sahara Ave.
at South Sixth Street, 702-794-3464

Chef Sheridan Su is serving up his version of Asian-American dishes that separate Fat Choy from other Asian-American restaurants. Among his sandwiches are short rib grilled cheese with onion jam and provolone and cheddar cheeses, the Fat Choy Burger (half-pound Angus beef patty, short rib, bacon, fried egg, cheddar, roasted tomato) and the PBBLT made with pork belly, bacon, lettuce, tomato and Sriracha mayo. Popular rice and noodle entrees include duck rice with crisp duck leg and fried shallots, chicken teriyaki rice, sesame noodles with roasted wild mushrooms, cucumbers, carrots and peanuts in sesame vinaigrette, fried pork sauce noodles and Ms. Wong’s Spaghetti and Meatballs with spicy roasted garlic tomato sauce. There is shrimp toast with Chinese sausage and fried egg, Peking duck buns, roasted marrow on grilled bread with onion jam and wonton soup with pork and shrimp. Breakfast is served from 8 to 11 a.m. and has biscuits and gravy, two-egg omelets, Big Breakfast Burrito and the Bigger Better, which is two eggs, two bacon strips, two sausage links, two pancakes and potatoes. Several desserts are Ghirardelli chocolate cake, carrot cake, tiramisu and Peanut Butter Cup. Sandwiches begin at $8, and breakfast starts at $5. Fat Choy is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. — Jack Bulavsky
