Bennett is a student at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., majoring in psychology.

Bennett's publication, "Health Discrimination and Perception of Individuals with Medical and Mental Needs," was completed with the help of her colleague, Caitlin Redmond, and faculty mentor Dr. Ava Santos.
