Metro seeks 2 men in fatal southwest valley shooting

Las Vegas police are looking for two "persons of interest" in connection with a fatal shooting in the southwest valley Thursday night.

Metro was called to the 7800 block of Limestone Arch Avenue, near the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Blue Diamond Road, about 10:30 p.m. after residents reported hearing gunfire.

Officers found Jerelle Javanta Lamb, 30, of Las Vegas, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a garage, police said. He died at University Medical Center.

Lamb was parking his vehicle when two men confronted him and a struggle led to the shooting, Metro said. The confrontation might have been drug or robbery related.

Two men and a 2000s-model Jeep Cherokee are being sought, police said. Metro described one of the men as being black and between 20 to 30 years old. He has a medium build, short hair and last wore a red shirt. The second man was described as being "mixed race" and about 20 to 30 years old with a medium build and short hair. He last wore a white shirt.
