Mobile home destroyed in northeast Las Vegas fire

A mobile home was destroyed after an early morning fire in the northeast valley Friday morning.

Around 4 a.m. the Clark County Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire at 6191 Bluehill Ave., near Lake Mead Drive and Sloan Avenue, Clark County Fire Chief Greg Cassell said.

Upon arrival, crews found structure heavily involved in fire. They had it knocked it down in about 20 minutes, Cassell said.

The residence was unoccupied at the time and appeared to be in a state of renovation, he said.

The Clark County Fire Department was assisted by the Las Vegas and North Las Vegas fire departments.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire and no one was displaced. Damages have not yet been estimated. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
