Moped rider critically injured in southeast LV crash
A moped rider was critically injured Monday evening after a two-vehicle crash near the Clark County Wetlands Park, according to Las Vegas police.
Officers were dispatched just after 5:30 p.m. to the intersection of Broadbent Boulevard and Broadlake Lane, at the west edge of Wetlands Park, where a moped and a vehicle collided, said Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin.
"The person is still alive, but it's life-threatening," Goodwin said.
Metro's fatal detail was en route to the crash just before 7 p.m., he said.
Further details were not immediately available, Goodwin said.
