Motorcyclist injured in crash on US 95 north of Las Vegas

A motorcyclist was critically injured Tuesday morning after a vehicle struck him on U.S. Highway 95 northwest of Las Vegas.

The crash happened just before 5:20 a.m. on southbound U.S. 95 near mile marker 98, according to Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Chelsea Stuenkel.

When the vehicle crashed into the motorcycle, the motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and hit by another vehicle, Stuenkel said. The man was taken to University Medical Center.
