Motorcyclist killed in Wednesday accident identified
A 20-year-old motorcyclist who died Wednesday night following a crash with an SUV near Rancho Drive and Craig Road has been identified.
Kyle Renfroe, of Las Vegas, was riding a 2006 Yamaha R1 motorcycle south on Rancho about 4:50 p.m. when the bike collided with a 2001 white Mercedes Benz SUV, driven by Rabih Hamdan, 41, police said. The SUV was exiting a parking lot at 4525 N. Rancho, police said.
Renfroe was taken to University Medical Center where he later died. No one else was hurt.
This was the 56th traffic-related death in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
