Police release footage of ‘person of interest’ in homicide — VIDEO

Las Vegas police have released video footage of a "person of interest" in the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Tiyvone Taylor Mills on Oct. 26.

Detectives are looking for a black man in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black jacket, according to a Metro release Wednesday.

Two people were fighting about 9:30 p.m. before the shooting happened, police said. Mills later was found lying in a parking lot at the Portofino Villas Apartment Homes, in the 6300 block of Lake Mead Boulevard near Torrey Pines Road, with multiple gunshot wounds. Two people were seen running from the parking lot after the shots were fired.

Mills died from a gunshot wound to the back, according to the Clark County coroner.

This was Metro's 103rd homicide investigation of 2015.
