Police seek armed robber who hit business near UNLV

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man connected to a November armed robbery of a business near UNLV.

Police released few details but said a man pointing a gun walked into the business at 4800 S. Maryland Parkway, near Tropicana Avenue, on Nov. 18 about 9 p.m.

The man demanded money and fled the store heading southbound, police said.

He was described as between 20 and 25 years old, 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, police said. He wore a black Cincinnati Reds hat, a black Under Armor jacket, a black shirt pulled over his face, blue jeans and black shoes, police said.
