A person was killed in what Las Vegas police say might be a road-rage shooting in the southwest valley on Thursday night.

The call about the incident at Flamingo Road and Torrey Pines Drive came in about 9:45 p.m. Responding officers took one suspect into custody, Lt. Barb Schmidt said. The person shot was taken to University Medical Center, where they died.

Schmidt said that the shooting may have been the result of road rage, but she couldn’t yet confirm it.

Police were still investigating Thursday night and released no other details.
