Suspect sought in April robbery near Rainbow and Oakey

Las Vegas police asked for the public’s help Friday in finding a man who robbed a business near the intersection of Rainbow and Oakey boulevards in late April.
The armed robbery happened on April 26 about 10:30 a.m., when a man walked into the business with a gun in his hand and demanded money from the clerk. After the business’ employee complied, the robber left on foot, police said.
Witnesses described the robber as a man between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a black bandana that covered his face and sunglasses.
