4 men arrested in Reno-area burglary ring

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Four men have been arrested in connection with more than 100 residential and vehicle burglaries in the Reno area over the last month.

The arrests made Thursday and Wednesday resulted from a joint investigation by Reno and Sparks police.

Investigators believe some citizens may have unknowingly purchased items stolen during the string of burglaries from Craigslist and other websites.

The suspects were identified as 21-year-old Preston Heller, 23-year-old Robert Donahue, 22-year-old Jaysen Pattersen and 26-year-old Francis Edwards.

They were arrested on suspicion of varying counts of burglary, and their bail ranged from $20,000 to $82,500.
