A crash shut down a busy road in the northwest valley for several hours Wednesday afternoon, police said.
About 3:30 p.m., police received a report of a crash involving a pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle near the intersection of Fort Apache and Lone Mountain roads, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
“Fort Apache is closed temporarily at this time and the injuries do not appear life threatening,” Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield wrote in an email.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
The road was reopened Wednesday evening.
