Lanes on West Flamingo Road have reopened after a critical injury crash caused their closure Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded at about 3:40 p.m. to reports of a crash in the area of West Flamingo Road and South Tenaya Way, the Metropolitan Police Department said in a media release.

At least one person has been taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

Eastbound and westbound Flamingo Road at South Tenaya were shut down following the crash but have since been reopened.

No further information was immediately available.
