Roundup: Tech posts shutout in win over Boulder City

Jalin Arroyo had two sacks, and Chloe Dody picked off a pass to help Tech’s flag football team post a 14-0 home victory over Boulder City on Wednesday.

Taylor Ritayik threw a pair of touchdown passes to Adriana Carillo for the Roadrunners.

Gabrielle De Guzman added six tackles for Tech.

Durango 35, Cheyenne 32 — At Durango, Nayeli Silva-Kahalewai completed 15 of 20 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns to help the Trailblazers edge the Desert Shields.

Gabriela Corchado supplied five catches for 115 yards, including TD grabs of 22 and 45 yards. She also tossed a TD pass for Durango.

Tatiana Baes had 10 rushes for 72 yards and a touchdown, and contributed four catches for 70 yards, including a 36-yard TD reception for the Trailblazers.

Dezirae Castillo added a 60-yard TD catch for Durango. Crystal Brown tallied six tackles and an interception to lead the Trailblazers defense.

Foothill 14, Canyon Springs 8 — At Canyon Springs, Niyah King had 12 tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown to lead the Falcons over the Pioneers.

Mackenzie Yeoman rushed for 46 yards and a TD for Foothill, which led 8-0 at the half.

Whitley Brow added eight tackles and caught three passes for 50 yards for the Falcons.

Alexis Mathis rushed for 115 yards on seven carries to lead Canyon Springs. Jaiden Guy hauled in a TD pass from Taylor Brown for the Pioneers.

Keyayanna Samuels had nine tackles for Canyon Springs.

Virgin Valley 13, Legacy 8 — At Mesquite, Rainee Brito rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown to lead the Bulldogs over the Longhorns.

Nikita Eskelsen added 71 rushing yards and a TD for Virgin Valley.

Green Valley 27, Las Vegas 0 — At Green Valley, Jennifer Haberstock tossed three touchdown passes to lead the Gators over the Wildcats.

Haberstock completed 20 of 30 passes for 245 yards.

Christina Mayberry had six catches for 123 yards and a touchdown, and Jazlyn Camacho had seven catches for 59 yards and two scores for Green Valley.

Anna Grave de Peralta added a TD catch for the Gators. Hannah Serquina had six tackles and a sack to lead the Green Valley defense.

Coronado 33, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Jaelyn Eisenhart rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries as the Cougars shut out the Mountain Lions.

Eisenhart had TD runs of 37, 50 and 6 yards.

Sydnee Hansen hauled in a 50-yard TD pass from Kaylin Hall, who completed 8 of 14 passes for 142 yards and two scores.

Ashley Taibi caught a 2-yard TD pass from Hall.

Payton Bard had seven tackles and a sack, and Amanda Burt had six tackles and a sack for Coronado.

Green Valley wins second straight flag football title
