2016 record: 13-17 (8-12 Division I Sunrise, seventh)

Returning letter winners (starters): Seven (five)

Top players: SS Mary Dungey (Sr.), 1B/OF Jaime Gonzalez (Sr.), C Megan Johnson (So.)

Outlook: Ostolaza was an assistant coach with the Skyhawks last season and takes over a team that brings back five starters and picked up Dungey, who transferred from Desert Oasis.

Gonzalez (.407) and Johnson (.346) also are expected to be among the offensive leaders on a team that is hoping for more success this year.
