GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Faith Lutheran edges Legacy in five in season finale

Sydney Washington had 18 kills and two blocks to lead Faith Lutheran to a 25-20, 22-25, 23-25, 25-19, 16-14 road victory over Legacy on Thursday evening.

Faith Lutheran’s Elizabeth Tuls had 10 kills and five blocks. Bryanna Neagle had 10 kills. Logan Van Reken had four aces and 20 digs, and Tayah Washington had 11 digs.

Keshauna Miles had five kills and 11 blocks and Alyssa Fuller had three kills and 27 digs for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 3, Palo Verde 2 — At Palo Verde, Whittnee Nihipali’s 17 kills and 31 digs powered the Mustangs to a 25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9 victory over the the Panthers.

Autumn Spendlove had 51 assists and 12 digs, Kizzy Rodriguez had 14 kills and 31 digs, and Braedyn Peters had 30 digs for the Mustangs.

Palo Verde’s Carli Tanner had seven kills and 12 digs, Mia Sadler had 15 assists and six digs and Makaya Truman had 21 digs. Arien Fafard added five kills, 12 assists, and 11 digs.

Centennial 3, Arbor View 1 — At Centennial, Talie Bonds had 17 kills, 25 assists and 17 digs, and Natalie Starlin added 14 kills and 21 digs to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-14, 25-18, 17-25, 28-26 win over the Aggies.

Kaysha Clark had 26 digs, and Siara Roberts notched five kills, 24 assists and 17 digs for Centennial.

Makayla Snyder led Arbor View with 19 kills. Sarah Goddard added 16 kills, and Alyson Jeeves dished out 45 assists for the Aggies.

Cheyenne 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Cheyenne, Kamalani Forcum had 12 assists and four aces to lead the Desert Shields to a 25-18, 25-17, 25-10 victory over Sunrise Mountain.

Tiamani Cyr had ten kills, Gisela Gutierrez had two aces and six digs, and Bridgette Menist had six kills for the Desert Shields.

Sunrise Mountain’s Anahis Nava had 16 assists. Daniela Robledo-Toribio added 11 digs, and Jamile Cano had three kills and two aces.

Rancho 3, Eldorado 0 — At Rancho, Karime Raygoza had 13 kills and two aces to propel the Rams to a 25-13, 25-10, 25-12 victory over the Sundevils.

Taylor Ewing had nine kills and Leiana Nacapuy had 29 assists for the Rams.

Las Vegas 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Nona-Rae Stewart had nine assists, six digs and three aces to lead the Wildcats to a 25-10, 25-6, 25-8 victory over the Pioneers.

Anna Dobbins had eight digs for Las Vegas and Marico Davis had seven aces.

Pahrump Valley 3, Western 0 — At Western, Jill Smith’s 16 assists led the Trojans to victory over the Warriors, 25-15, 25-13, 25-15.

Alexis Trieb had five kills and Isabelle Meza had seven kills for the Trojans.

Nikki Riggs had six assists, Candace Carpenter had four kills, and Adriana Jones had two aces for the Warriors.

Mojave 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Mojave, Sua Estrada had 20 assists and seven kills as she led the Rattlers to victory over the Jaguars, 25-18, 25-11, 25-6.

Samantha Rebolledo had 12 digs and Darria Gray had eight kills for the Rattlers.

Jaguars’ Brianna Fitzgerald had two aces and six blocks, Vita Tavita had four blocks, Martha Maya had two aces and four digs, Michelle Rhodes had three assists and one block, and Meleane Ngvae had 12 digs.

Adelson School 3 GV Christian 0 — At The Adelson School, Hayden Jensen’s 19 aces and Elizabeth Gutierrez’s 18 aces led the Lions to victory over GV Christian, 25-10, 25-18, 25-22.

Crystil Wood had four kills and three blocks and Dana Bluevise had six aces for the Lions.

Agassi Prep 3, Lake Mead 1 — At Agassi Prep, Darayon Moore’s 30 digs helped the Stars to a 26-24, 25-22, 10-25, 25-12 victory over Lake Mead.

Denise Parker had 13 assists, Monet McGlone had seven kills and five digs, Ayanna McClendon had ten kills and four digs and Daneya Houser had five kills for Agassi Prep.

Calvary Chapel 3, Laughlin 0 — At Laughlin, Lexi Davis had 12 aces and 18 assists to lead the Lions to a 25-8, 25-3, 25-15 win over the Cougars.

Sara Hernandez added six kills and five aces, and Olivia Kaiser notched eight kills for Calvary Chapel.

Tonopah 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Sandy Valley, the Ruckers defeated the Sidewinders, 25-20, 26-24, 25-14.

Indian Springs 3, Round Mountain 0 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds defeated the Knights, 25-20, 25-9, 25-15.

The Meadows 2, Needles 0 — At Needles, Califorina, The Meadows beat Needles, 25-18, 25-10.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Beatty 0 — At Pahranagat Valley, the Panthers beat Beatty in three sets.

Beaver Dam 3, Word of Life 0 — At Beaver Dam, the Diamondbacks beat Word of Life in three sets.
