A high-pressure system approaching the Las Vegas Valley will bring warmer weather next week, the National Weather Service said.
Saturday’s 74-degree high will be coupled with mostly sunny skies and winds up to 10 mph in the late afternoon. Sunday will follow with a forecast high of 82 degrees.
As the weekend’s cold front moves out of the valley, the weather service said, temperatures are expected to climb near 90 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to “cool down slightly again” on Wednesday, meteorologist Andy Gorelow said, with a high of 84 degrees.
No rain is expected through the week, the weather service said. Instead, the valley can expect mostly sunny skies.
