Here’s what IKEA is giving away on its opening day in Las Vegas

IKEA has announced items the retailer is giving away when it opens its new Las Vegas store May 18.

The first 42 adults will receive a free Ektorp three-seat sofa, according to a news release from the company.

The next 100 adults will receive a free Poang armchair. The first 100 children will receive a free Famnig heart-shaped soft toy.

In addition, the first 2,500 adults will receive a random prize envelope with IKEA gift cards ranging from $10 to $250, or a food voucher, the company said.

The first 100 adults bringing proof that their birthday is the same as the store’s can receive a gift card in the amount of $42, as this location is the chain’s 42nd store in the U.S.

What if you can’t be there opening day? From May 18 through May 22, visitors may enter a drawing to win one of ten $1,000 IKEA gift cards. On May 19, the first 42 adults will receive a free queen-sized Haugesund mattress.
