Tickets for the Taste of Home Cooking School and Expo are on sale now

Tickets are on sale for the Taste of Home Cooking School and Expo on June 2 at the South Point. Presentations by more than 20 local vendors will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the two-hour cooking school at 6:30 p.m. Those attending will get coupons, samples and more.
Admission is $15 general admission, $30 preferred (with preferred seating) and $50 for VIP (with a cocktail party and cookbook) and are available at www.ticketmaster.com. …

A Vivier wine tasting is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas, 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South. PT’s Entertainment Group restaurants — PT’s Gold, Sierra Gold and Sean Patrick’s — will participate in Kegs for KMA, a benefit for Keep Memory Alive, which helps support the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 26, a portion of proceeds from sales of PT’s Brewing Company draft beer will be donated to the organization. From 6 to 10 p.m. May 26, the Sierra Gold at 6515 S. Jones Blvd. will host an additional fundraiser. Admission is $25 and includes PT’s Brewing Company draft beer, appetizers and a drawing. …
Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, 4480 Paradise Road, will introduce Mezzanotta Grill from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. May 29. It’s $25 per person, which includes unlimited beer and pizza, plus house-made Italian sausages and Hofmann hot dogs cooked on an outdoor grill. The restaurant also will host Jazz Workshop, a traditional jazz band, in its bar from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursdays, beginning this week.
