Two people were seriously injured Thursday when a three-wheeled motorcycle overturned near UNLV.

Metro responded to the crash near Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road at 12:30 p.m.

A man and woman were riding the motorcycle. The man was taken to University Medical Center, and the woman was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.

Eastbound Tropicana was closed between Paradise Road and Koval Lane following the crash but since has reopened, Meltzer said.
