Coroner identifies woman killed in northeast valley rollover crash

A Las Vegas woman was killed in a rollover crash in the northeast valley Monday evening.

Metro's fatal detail investigated the crash that killed 21-year-old Lizbett Dominguez about 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lamb Boulevard and Craig Road, according to police.

Dominguez was a passenger in a 2006 Dodge Charger that collided with a 2013 Ford Focus making a left turn from southbound Lamb to eastbound Craig. The Dodge was traveling north on Lamb through the intersection, police said.

The force of the impact caused the Dodge to overturn and crash into two utility poles. The vehicle came to a rest on its roof just north of the intersection, a Metro release said.

The driver of the Dodge was extracted from the upside-down car and taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries, the release said. Dominguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Focus remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment, police said.

This is the eighth traffic-related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction in 2016.
