Electrical fire causes $75,000 of damage to central valley furniture store

Las Vegas Fire Department investigators determined that a fire that caused in $75,000 in damage to a furniture store in the central Las Vegas Valley was electrical in nature.
The store, U.S. Furniture and Upholstery, 1610 East Charleston Blvd., had flames coming from vents on the roof and smoke in the attic at about 3:40 Saturday afternoon, according to the department.
The fire was out as of 4:02 p.m., and no injuries were reported, according to the department's Twitter account.
