Las Vegas police investigating death of 4-month-old boy found Tuesday
The Clark County coroner’s office has identified a 4-month-old boy found dead Tuesday morning.
Jax Ewing was found dead after police responded about 11:42 a.m. Tuesday to the 4800 block of Boulder Highway, near East Flamingo Road, to investigate a report of a child’s death, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Michael Rodriguez said.
The cause and manner of death are still pending, according to the coroner’s office.
“Abuse and neglect is investigating,” Rodriguez said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the death and police are not looking for any suspects, Rodriguez said.
No further details were immediately available.
