MGM reveals debt-paying plan and gets bid for stake in Borgata

MGM Resorts International announced steps Tuesday it was taking to address its $13 billion in long-term debt, putting 40.9 million additional shares of the company’s common stock on the open market. The company also said it received an offer for its 50 percent ownership of Borgata, in Atlantic City.
