Repeated stings rile neighbors of Henderson beekeeper

The first couple of bee stings only caused pain and redness. But a family’s yearslong fight to enjoy their backyard and protect their children from bees took another step last week, when the Henderson City Council unanimously approved an ordinance on beekeeping.

St. Rose begins training for ‘Stop the Bleed’ program— PHOTOS

In partnership with the city of Henderson, Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Hospital will be offering “Stop the Bleed” trainings for the public to become trained in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

Sloan Canyon visitor station in Henderson to expand hours

The station at the entrance to the 48,438-acre conservation area at the southern edge of Henderson will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through next May.
