Centennial beat Durango 12-0 on Wednesday, but that was only part of the story. Centennial righty Amanda Sink struck out 20 batters, a state record for a seven-inning game. It was a pitchers’ duel early, with Durango’s Trinity Valentine matching Sinkl through three innings. But Centennial broke through in the fourth, and put it away in the fifth. Centennial will play Palo Verde on Wednesday, and Durango will play Bishop Gorman.
