Las Vegas morning update for Wednesday, October 11th — VIDEO

Here are your Wednesday morning headlines:

1. Sheriff Joe Lombardo met with the Las Vegas Review-Journal Tuesday and provided new details on the mass shooting on October 1. Lombardo said Stephen Paddock had no known gambling debts and that his girlfriend Marilou Danley told investigators she did not have concerns regarding his mental health. On at least two occasions, a bellman helped Paddock bring bags to his 32nd-floor suite. Lombardo said they still don’t have a clear picture of why Paddock opened fire.

2. MGM Resorts International disputes Lombardo’s revised timeline of the October 1 shooting. MGM Resorts spokeswoman Debra DeShong said in a statement that they believe the current timeline may not be accurate. Police previously said a Mandalay Bay security guard was shot after the attack on Route 91 festival goers, but now say the guard was shot 6 minutes before the mass shooting began.

3. According to an arrest report, a man killed a woman he believed worked for law enforcement. Edward Joe Perez III told police he “did not like or trust” Carla Louise Boles and thought she worked for law enforcement. Police accuse Perez of shooting Boles once in the head shortly after walking into a friend’s house.
