Las Vegas morning update for Wednesday, September 27th — VIDEO

Here are your Wednesday morning headlines:

1. Las Vegas police are searching for a man who they say got mad at his Lyft driver and used a Taser on the driver. The passenger fled on foot and is still at large.

2. A 21-year-old motorcyclist and a 43-year-old driver died after a deadly crash at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Police say the motorcyclist was speeding west on Warm Springs and collided with the driver turning onto Warm Springs from Paradise Bay Drive.

3. A man suspected of trying to run 2 people over near a middle school said his actions were justified because rocks were being thrown at his car. Clay Green told police his orange Ford Mustang is a show car, and the two people throwing rocks at it justified his actions. Green told a Review-Journal reporter that the only thing he regrets is wrecking his Mustang.

4. According to police, swiping your credit card at a gas station is just as dangerous as ever. Gas stations still use systems that read the magnetic strips on cards instead of chips which makes pumps vulnerable to skimming devices that steal card data. Police recently found 8 skimming devices at one gas station.
