Las Vegas morning update for Saturday, October 14th — VIDEO
Here are your Saturday morning headlines:
1. During a press conference on Friday, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo announced a second significant adjustment to the timeline of events surrounding the Oct. 1 shooting. The newest timeline reflects the latest information provided by MGM Resorts. Lombardo said he was not in conflict with their statement, and agreed that Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos was shot about the same time shots were fired into the festival crowd.
2. Campos vanished Thursday afternoon, before being scheduled to appear on five scheduled TV network interviews. Around 2 p.m., Campus was discovered missing, and has not been heard from since. Campos was scheduled to appear on the Sean Hannity show on Fox News around 6 p.m., and was then going to appear on NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN.
3. Soon after the Oct. 1 shootings, the internet was full of conspiracy theories. Shaky cell phone footage becomes proof of a second shooter. Multiple gunman fired shots inside several other Strip resorts. The gunman survived the attack.
