Roundup: Silverado soars past Sierra Vista

Tyler Olson had 17 kills and three blocks to power Silverado’s boys volleyball team over visiting Sierra Vista, 25-15, 26-24, 23-25, 25-21 on Thursday.

Jon Francis had 12 kills and 18 digs for the Skyhawks, Dillon Marshall had 16 digs and four aces, and Bravyn Aquino had 34 assists.

Croix Reganit had 11 kills and an ace for the Mountain Lions, Trenton Morss had 13 digs, three aces and two kills, and Frank Hines had 15 assists, three aces and two kills.

Basic 3, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, the Wolves downed the Longhorns 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-19.

Garrett Linell had 21 assists for the Longhorns, and Davick Clark had six kills and five digs.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Somerset-Losee 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Emerald Acasili had 11 kills and three digs to lead the Miners to a 25-10, 25-23, 26-24 win over the Lions.

Johnny Pedraza added 15 assists and two aces, and teammate Elijah Bright had 23 digs and three aces for Sunrise Mountain.
