Check it out: Knights’ full 2025-26 schedule released by NHL
Updated July 16, 2025 - 4:28 pm
The Golden Knights will open the 2025-26 season against the Los Angeles Kings on Oct. 8 at T-Mobile Arena.
The Knights’ full regular-season schedule was released by the NHL on Wednesday, starting with a Pacific Division showdown against the Kings that will air on TNT. The game will feature the debut of right wing Mitch Marner, who was acquired in a sign-and-trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1.
This will be the second time the Knights and Kings open a season against each other. They did so to kick off the 2022-23 campaign, coach Bruce Cassidy’s first with the team. Captain Mark Stone scored a game-winning goal with 26 seconds remaining to get the Knights’ Stanley Cup championship season off to an exciting start.
Marner will face his former team for the first time Jan. 15 at T-Mobile Arena. The native of Markham, Ontario, will return to Toronto on Jan. 23.
The Knights’ first game against the Maple Leafs will also feature a reunion with center Nicolas Roy, who was sent to Toronto as part of the sign-and-trade.
The Knights, after opening against the Kings, play three straight on the road. They travel to San Jose to play the Sharks the day after facing Los Angeles.
The Knights have another back-to-back on the road in October against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, who they defeated in the 2023 Final, and Tampa Bay Lightning. They face the Panthers on Oct. 25 and the Lightning on Oct. 26 for one of their 12 back-to-backs this season.
The Knights host Florida on Nov. 10 as part of a season-long six-game homestand. They have two five-game road trips.
Other notable dates include:
■ The Knights’ annual Nevada Day home game will be 1 p.m. Oct. 31 against the Colorado Avalanche.
■ The New York Islanders and No. 1 overall pick Matthew Schaefer will visit T-Mobile Arena on Nov. 13.
